Air Cooled Temperature Controller
An analyzer cabinet is cooled by a Vortec cooler; the air flow to
the Vortec cooler needs to be adjusted to compensate for changes in ambient
conditions.
An ASCO Posiflow modulating solenoid valve is
used to regulate the air supply to the Vortec cooler which has the effect of
changing the cooling air temperature delivered to the analyzer cabinet. The
temperature of the analyzer cabinet is monitored by an RTD and Dwyer
temperature controller. The modulating solenoid follows the output of the PID
controller. A Dwyer Photohelic differential pressure switch monitors the purge
pressure in the enclosure and initiates loss of pressure alarm. The required
power supply for the modulating solenoid is included with the enclosure.
